Ron Ledbury built the PDXWalk app as a Commercial app. This is provided by Ron Ledbury and is intended for use as is. I set out to track my walk in Portland's Forest Park, and stay on the paths. Then I got carried away and added the eleven western-most American states. It is the tool that I wanted for myself. Offline.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use PDXWalk app.
If you choose to use PDXWalk app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. Eventually will offer specialized map downloads. The PDXWalk app itself does not transmit any location information directly, but does allow users to prepare text messages and emails containing location or GPS track files to send using other apps dedicated to that purpose.
Information Collection and Use
Some settings pages ask you to provide personally identifiable information that may be used in the templates to create your message or emails, otherwise no data is sent other than by you in SMS or email.
The app does NOT use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Branding issues apparently prevent use of the offline maps here and Google's wonderful maps in the same app. There are thus no Google Maps included here at all. (I do wish I could use both, but I cannot.)
Security
Web site will log download activity for any maps downloaded.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do necessary actions.
